I click the remote from channel to channel. One fishing show, two men in a motorboat are pulling a strange two-headed fish from the water. I clicked again and we saw a news program: Earth geeks have landed, the reporter announces solemnly. Everyone should be on the lookout. The mayor-governor has declared a state of emergency. I turn to Arlene. I can see by her face that she has the same thought – Maybe we’re the Earth geeks and they’re out to get us!
