One Time Refundable Deposit: One time refundable deposit of will apply. This is for our security to partially/completely cover any involved risks against loss/damage, and will be instantly refunded whenever you choose to close the membership with us.

Other Terms and Conditions - Please Read Carefully:
1. Free Doorstep service would be applicable only once a month. Any additional requests in the same month would be chargeable by Rs.70.
2. Doorstep Service could be availed for an exchange of minimum 3 books. Exchanges at our store has no such restrictions.
3. Fine worth MRP would be levied in case major damage to the books is done. Normal wear during reading is okay. Any damage to the received books need to be reported immediately on the same/next day.
4. Membership renewal STRICTLY needs to happen on time. The renewals can be conveniently done at home. You don’t need to plan a visit to our store specially for renewals.
5. If someone doesn’t renew after 5 days of membership expiry, even after multiple reminders from our side, we will strictly be initiating pickups and terminate the membership. On such incident, a late fine of Rs.100, and our pickup charges of Rs.50 will apply, whether you choose to continue with our library membership or not. We will be adding this to our library T&C soon.
6. The deposit amount cannot be used for renewals during the tenure of your membership. It’s for our safety, to partially cover ourselves against loss and damage.
7. We do accept book requests and we have fulfilled it for lot of our customers. However, we request you to understand that the orders to publishers/distributors and our other suppliers go in bulk, and each of them have a different threshold order value. Hence, for fulfillment of the book requests, it might take a day, or a month.
8. Thea/Geronimo Stilton books are limited to 2 per order. This is to make children explore other authors as well, and potentially prevent blockage of Stilton titles (considering it’s the most favorite among kids).
9. In case of membership CLOSURE, Refundable Deposit will be refunded only if all the books are returned in expected condition.
10. Providing us the details required for the membership, you agree it to be correct. Any discrepancy found later, the membership will be put on hold instantly until the KYC is complete.
11. If your membership has EXPIRED while you are out of town for any reason and still holding any of the borrowed books, Renewals still needs to be done on time, without any excuses. The penalty rules will still apply on renewal delays.
12. In case you wish to PAUSE your membership for any reason, it needs to be informed to us, after which all the borrowed books should to be returned to us. Pausing and Resuming in the same calendar month isn't allowed.
13. If a member chooses to PAUSE/QUIT/WITHDRAW the membership, the borrowed books should be returned immediately.
14. If the member holds the borrowed books for more than membership grace of 5 days, fine charges of Rs.100 will be applied. For any reason, if the books are held beyond membership expiry for more than 15 days (from the date of expiry), fine charges of Rs.250 will apply. If the delay is beyond 30 days, the fine charges would be Rs.500. Additional pickup charges of Rs.100 will apply (if applicable).
15. If a member does not respond to any of the 5 renewal reminders sent by us, the books will be picked up from their location, and the account would be permanently TERMINATED, and no refund would be processed.
16. If the membership is TERMINATED, the member wont be allowed to avail Read and Brew Library services any time in future and the deposit will be held with us. Hence, please avoid terminations, and renew your membership on time.
